Yesterday I completed this little mural commission for my clients. It fulfilled the homeowner’s dreams, was priced fairly and finished in time to coincide with the kitchen re-do and visit from family. Here is a sneak peak. Although I haven’t picked up a paint bush in three years, it was so much fun. I am inspired!

Now that summer is here, things are heating up in the real estate market! In the last week, I have been to Winchester, Williamsburg, Gloucester and Norfolk on listing presentations, showings and meetings. What a wonderfully busy week! More to come this weekend.

The Corn Crop has been planted!
As the wife of a farmer who plants, cultivates and harvests small grains and corn, the corn crop is in and is off to a great start. Soon we will be enjoying summer sweet corn and at the end of August thru September the grand corn harvest. After the harvest – Dove Season sets in.
