A Must See this Summer!

Don’t miss the opportunity of a lifetime as L’Hermione – the ship that brought Lafayette to Yorktown, essentially paving the way for the American Independence, comes to a Port near you!  She has been described as the Statue of Liberty of the Sea.  Go to the link below to find out where she will be next!

I went with my husband and daughter, to Yorktown – it was truly a highlight of our lives to see such a magnificent ship, re-created in every detail, using 18th century methods, tools, etc.  I was so excited to see the myriad of families, school groups and people from every walk of life experiencing History in a real and tangible way.   Don’t miss her!  If you are on the East Coast and have not had the opportunity to see this magnificent replica, view her schedule and find out all about her online at http://www.hermione2015.com.

Recently Sold – Historic Waterfront in Mathews – Belmont Circa 1837

Earlier this month, I represented buyer clients from out of state,  in their search for a historic waterfront home that met their needs as a private home they could eventually retire to, while using it as a Vacation Rental By Owner in the meantime.   It was my pleasure and honor to assist them in listening to their needs, wants and previewing properties on their behalf.  The opportunity to not only meet the needs of my clients but also make new friends is one of the very best parts of my profession.  The listing agent also was a joy to work with and offered great cooperation.  I am hoping we will have another one coming down the road in the near future.

Luxury and Estate Market Re-cap

Stay tuned for my re-cap of the Luxury and Estate Market for 2014.  Some predictable news and some surprises.  Will be posting soon.

I had a good year in real estate sales, representing buyers and sellers.  Also had one of the largest non-waterfront estate closings in the entire Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.

If you wish to receive a copy of my market updates, please contact me at karinandrews@williamewood.com or by filling out the attached comment box below.  Your info will be kept confidential.

Wishing you the best of days!
